Note that the spine and cover both proudly claim "Illustrated" however the book only contains the frontispiece. There is no evidence of anything missing and no reference to illustrations in the contents etc.

General wear and fading to covers and spine as shown. Inside hinges split with binding "relaxed" however covers are secure. Frontis and title page cluster is loose and has some chipping and tears as per photos with no other loose pages. No inscriptions. Pages are clean and well presented. Good condition overall.
