"Annie Webb-Peploe (also known as Annie Webb) (1806-1880) was a British writer of approximately 25 books, some under the name "Mrs. J.B. Webb". Her best-known book today is probably Naomi: or, The last days of Jerusalem (1841), which was reprinted throughout the nineteenth century."

General wear, fading and rubbing to covers and spine as shown. Some minor damage to top and bottom of outer spine. A couple of prior owner names present along with a lovely purchase invoice from 1974. Inside hinges split and covers a tad wobbly but all holding together nicely with no loose pages.
