"The Quiver (1861-1956) was a weekly magazine published by Cassell's and was "designed for the defence and promotion of biblical truth and the advance of religion in the homes of the people." John Cassell (1817-1865), the English publisher and temperance advocate conceived the idea of a periodical which would supply Sunday reading for the family while touring America in 1859-1860."

Heavy wear to covers and spine with splitting and some loss as shown. Inside hinges split with covers wobbly but securely attached. Light spotting to prelims with the vast majority of the book with subtle age toning and clean. Text block binding is very good with no loose pages. An excellent reading copy that still presents well on the shelf. Please study photos to further understand condition.
