" Sir Walter Scott (15 August 1771 - 21 September 1832), was a Scottish historian, novelist, poet, and playwright. Many of his works remain classics of European and Scottish literature, notably the novels Ivanhoe (1819), Rob Roy (1817), Waverley (1814), Old Mortality (1816), The Heart of Mid-Lothian (1818), and The Bride of Lammermoor (1819), along with the narrative poems Marmion (1808) and The Lady of the Lake (1810). He had a major impact on European and American literature."

Light wear to covers and spines as shown with some minor rub through. Probable late 1800's rebinds. One or 2 covers a tad bent out of shape. Prelim pages with foxing including illustrated title pages however the vast majority of the contents of all 6 volumes are quite clean with only the odd age spot. Marbled text block edges have faded. Binding is excellent across all 6 volumes with no loose pages. A very nice set of early Walter Scott works in good to very good condition overall. Please study photos to understand condition.
