" The Encyclopædia Britannica is a general knowledge English-language encyclopaedia. It has been published by Encyclopædia Britannica, Inc. since 1768, although the company has changed ownership seven times. The encyclopaedia is maintained by about 100 full-time editors and more than 4,000 contributors. The 2010 version of the 15th edition, which spans 32 volumes and 32,640 pages, was the last printed edition. Since 2016, it has been published exclusively as an online encyclopaedia."

General wear and fading to covers and spines as shown. There is some water damage affecting the top section of several pages in volumes 2 & 8. Pages are particularly thin and as a result there is some page creasing evident across the 4 volumes with minor chipping affecting a few of the creased pages. Otherwise, pages clean and bright. There are a couple of page "padders" that I have checked against online copies and I have verified that these copies are all complete. All 4 volumes in good condition overall. Please study photos to further understand condition.
