Clemenceau: The Events Of His Life As Told By Himself To His Former Secretary Jean Martet
Translated by Milton Waldman
Published by Longmans, Green And Co: London 1930 1st English Edition

"Georges Benjamin Clemenceau (1841 - 1929) was a French statesman who served as Prime Minister of France from 1906 to 1909 and again from 1917 until 1920. A physician turned journalist, he played a central role in the politics of the Third Republic, particularly amid the end of the First World War. He was a key figure of the Independent Radicals, advocating for the separation of church and state, as well as the amnesty of the Communards exiled to New Caledonia."

Sun fading and a few marks to covers and spine. Inside hinges split and covers wobbly but secure. No inscriptions. Pages clean with subtle age toning. Note there are a couple of page separators/leaf ends that present as possibly a removed page - there is no evidence of any content lacking so probable printers intention (see phot example).
