8 Volume Set - Lacks Plates

This 8 volume set lacks plates. Included are 46 original plates, many with tissue papers + 4 maps + 232 pages of text. The text component of the 8 volume set is complete. I believe there should be 110 plates so this set falls well short of completeness when it comes to the plates. Foxing is present and affects all plates to varying degrees. Text pages with some foxing at prelims otherwise mostly clean. Some plates loose. A complete set in very good condition would command a price of around $2k AUD so this depleted set presents an excellent opportunity to acquire a taste of the real thing for a fraction of the price!
