His most notable works are Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865) and its sequel Through the Looking-Glass (1871). He was noted for his facility with word play, logic, and fantasy. His poems Jabberwocky (1871) and The Hunting of the Snark (1876) are classified in the genre of literary nonsense."

Bindings in poor condition with heavy fading damage/staining and rub through to covers and spine as shown. Binding glue has largely evaporated so multiple clusters and the odd page are loose. Light foxing present with a few marks here and there. Needs a lot of TLC or enjoy as a reading copy. Prime candidate for a rebind or restoration project. Inside hinges split.
