Features: An exceedingly rare 1st Edition Dictionary from 1753. Likely original bindings with both covers detached. Includes interesting contemporary notes on the inside cover including "Miss Thorpe her book the gift of her Momma" and "This year is 1775 as I am alive", "J Harrison Houden 1773", "Miss Coates Gainsborough 1773". The title page carries the name "Elizabeth Thorpe".
